In case your considering to apply for our Future Finance Programme (FFP) I thought I’d give it a shot and tell you why you should give it a go and come join us.
I started my carrier at Nordea Markets 1,5 years ago as a FFP. The program usually lasts between 4-5 months which might sound like a short time, but you will have the chance to learn so much! My favorite part with the internship is that you get a lot of responsibility straight away and get to do the actual work from the get-go. Of course, you will have all the help you want and need from your colleagues but at least for me the best way to learn is by doing. You also get to work with incredible smart and passionate people. It has been amazing to notice that whatever the question might be there is always someone happy to discuss and explain.
There is also a lot of different activities planned for you during the summer. You get to participate in a markets academy which is designed to give you an image of all the different parts of Nordea. We realise that sometimes you need to try out a few different positions before you find the right fit. The academy is a good way for you to get an image of all the different opportunities we at Nordea have to offer.
Many of my colleagues who stayed on after the summer have done rotations to different positions and even between the Nordic countries. You also get to take part in a summer project which is a great opportunity for you to put your creativity into use.
We also want you to have fun outside working hours. To assure you will have the best summer possible we appoint so called “fun managers” for you. The Fun Managers will organize events and get togethers every month. These events are a great opportunity for you to get to know each other and other colleagues. Personally, I have participated in these events for two summers now first as a FFP and then as a Fun Managers and will for sure attend every event next summer as well!
