If you have a Master’s degree and the right attitude, we’ve got at desk for you at one of the largest banks in Northern Europe. Combining business knowledge, employeeship and personal growth, our talent programme puts your career on the right track from day one.
A great start to your career
The Nordea Graduate Programme is designed to create value. For you, for us and for our customers. Depending on the business area, you are employed in the programme for two to three years.
It consists of two major parts with two main elements each. A general part with attendance in international seminars and a mentoring process, followed by a business track where you put knowledge into practice within a specific area of the bank. On-the-job-training is mixed with relevant activities that support your position.
You can read more about the various elements in our general graduate introduction.
Smart people who know how to get smarter
For some positions your academic achievements will play a big part. For others we look at your ability to cooperate. No matter what, good grades and honours do not cut it alone. More than anything else we look for the right attitude. You need to be confident, self-driven and have a mindset to constantly improve and develop yourself.
Furthermore, we expect you to meet the following criteria:
- A maximum of one year’s post-academic working experience
- Great social and communication skills
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Ability to work, make decision and be nice under pressure
Specific recruitment criteria are defined under each job ad.
Vacant positions will be published on nordea.com/career. We recommend that you start a subscription for upcoming graduate positions to make sure that you get an e-mail as soon as a position is posted.
Most graduate positions are for a particular location (country and/or organisational area) but for some, we recruit the best candidate to be located in any of the four Nordic capitals. Each job ad contains detailed information about the position, its location and application date.
If you want to apply for more than one position, note that you need to send separate applications for each position. Your application will be processed by the business area in question and you will find relevant contact information in each job ad.
