The first step in your career
Our graduate programmes are a great way to kick-start your career and put what you learned at university into practice. The programmes will develop your personal and professional skills and help you find out what makes you tick within the business.
A two-part programme
The openings differ from country to country, but no matter where you live the programme will be divided into a general part and a business track.
The former runs for one year, during which time you will attend four international seminars and meet fellow graduates from other countries. You will also meet up regularly with your mentor who will help you settle into the company. After the first year, you will have gained a great overview and network within Nordea Markets.
The business track lasts for one to two years and lets you specialise in a chosen business area. Depending on your interests and skills, you can pursue a career as a sales manager, analyst, researcher or some other position within our firm. You will learn your profession and gradually be given more and more responsibility in relation to customers and colleagues.
Money moves freely across national borders and so does our presence and expertise. We are the biggest player within our field in the Nordics with offices across the region and in several other countries. On top of this, many teams are global and work across offices in different countries. So a foot in our door can be your first step towards an international career.
